Having been a health care professional for 25 years it is always time to look back and see if I have made a difference to guide my activities for the future. Over the last 8 years I have been involved with various health missions to under served areas of the world. Global health issues can not continued to be ignored by those of us privileged to have a technologically advanced health care system.
My travels have reached the mother land, i.e. Africa, and the Latin countries, specifically Central America and Mexico. I have experienced the blessings of being able to provide care to others and have been fortunate to be able to exchange ideas with health professionals all over the world. The benefits of providing care to remote areas of our hemisphere and beyond has been to keep me motivated to contiuing to sere others. Bringing others together in these ventures helps to enhance the Global Exchange Of Health. Helping others to improve their health and help under served areas develop their health care systems has always and will continue to be important to me.
My goal is to share some of these experiences with you and hope to encourage others to do the same, insha’Allah (God willing).
