The time has come for US to take charge. We at Stepping Together are committed to a five to ten year, or more if needed, effort to help Haiti get back on its feet. This is about sustainability and continued growth.
Keep posted on our latest efforts and activities. We are planning a trip in early March but this may change. Given my experience with health missions now is not the time to go and sit and do nothing.
As always keep the people of Haiti in your hearts, minds, and most importantly prayers.

We are working on going either from 1-8 March or 7-12 March. I am waiting to get the final word from another agency regarding the first dates. This may limit the number of members in the team.
Due to the current situation in Haiti CBO & NGO are being restricted and so it is important that we have good connections and the ability to work. Right now many physicians are sitting around waiting to work. I would like to avoid this.
